Real Estate Testing

A short-term radon screening assessment is recommended prior to any real estate transaction, unless a long-term radon test has been conducted during the most recent heating season.  A 4 day test with a Canadian National Radon Proficiency (C-NRPP) approved digital Constant Radon Monitor with built in tamper proof technology is carried out and the report is sent to the client the day the test is completed. The report with includes recommendations based on a plot of radon levels, temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure.

Lowering radon levels in a home requires specific technical expertise and knowledge to ensure the work is done correctly. Health Canada recommends that a C-NRPP certified professional is hired to test and mitigate your home.
